I'm not sure I enjoyed a game more since the last UConn's National Championship.

Here is a team that has gone through hell. They are playing a higher ranked Tennessee team with a full complement of players (minus Bueckers) for only the second time this season. Then they find out that their best scorer Caroline Ducharme will miss the game due to being in the concussion protocal. I mean, I'm sure they felt so snake bit.

So, what do that do? They showed a national audience what UConn basketball is all about. Crisp passing, great shooting and mind numbing defense. 

A great job of coaching by Geno and Chris. They had this team ready for anything Tennessee could offer.

The coming out party for Azzi Fudd.

So proud of this team. I smell a No. 2 seed coming their way!!

Patterson arguably has the most jumping and leaping ability in the class. She has gone viral with two-handed dunks off of two feet. She is quick, fast and powerful. She can handle the ball like a guard, post up and knock down the jumper out to the 3. UConn is getting a player with some major potential next season.

Brady is a smooth operator with an old-school feel to her game. She can be powerful inside while also being a threat to knock down the 3-pointer. Her passing ability might help her most beyond just her physicality when she gets to UConn. When a team can run its offense through a forward or post, things really open up on the floor.

It has been pretty good for UConn in regards to seeding since the first reveal.  The next reveal is this week.

Looks to me there will be plenty of movement. Here is my best guess. Remember that I am not really good that this...lol.

Sadly, the way it looks to me, UConn will be the 1st No. 3 seed. Close!

There will be more losses for teams ahead of UConn. Hopefully that will get them to a No. 2 Seed.

As I said earlier, it was such a great win for UConn and as enjoyable as I can remember. A lot was how great UConn played, but also how poorly Tennessee played and how miserable their fans might feel right now.

I know, it's pretty petty. But I can't help it. Leading up to that game, the Vol fans talked a lot of crap and now there is nothing for them to say. Nothing.

Losers of 3 out of their last 4 games since the Top 16 reveal came out, they were also in the top 5 for the first time in a long time. They dropped to No. 7 and since have lost by 25 to Florida and 19 to UConn. 

2 seed? Gone.
Top 10? Gone.

Head cases. Present. Fans and players. and watching Coach Harper, she has to be on ledge. 

They are lucky that they play Missouri and Vanderbilt at home in their next two games. But the way they are playing and their state of mind? Anything can happen.

Almost as much fun as it is when Tennessee loses, when you add in a Notre Dame loss in, well, it's a great day!!!

The No. 20  Irish lost to unranked Florida State 70-65. The Seminoles were 10-10 coming into this game. This is a really bad loss for Notre Dame. It wasn't that close. Notre Dame was down 18 points with 8 minutes remaining and they closed to 2 points. Great comeback falls short. I wish Muffett was still coaching. It's much more enjoyable to see her sour face after a loss.

Well, the Orange Idiots are finally seeing the light.

"Again UCONN proves superior to the Lady Vols ...in coaching, fundamentals and execution ......"

Of course, there are still idiots. They are trashing UConn's schedule, but DePaul beat Kentucky, Creighton beat Arkansas. And they are talking up Auburn and Florida.

No, technically they were blocks. Moron.

Probably not the best way to start the 1st half for UConn. Only 35% shooting from the field, 26% from three point, 9 fouls, 7 turnovers and gave Tenn. 12 foul shots. But, Tenn. was worse. UConn outrebounded and outhustles the Vols for a 7 point lead. Good defense overcame weak shooting. The 3rd period was better.

Consider:

1. 14-0 run to start the 3rd period.
2. Muhl, no points in first half - 8 pts in the first 4 minutes of the 2nd.
3. 23-11 Huskies scoring in the 3rd period.
4. Westbrook and Fudd up to 14 points each.
5. Only 4 turnovers.
6. 19 point lead.

The 4th period was a tie, but at least UConn didn't lose the 4th. Great statement victory over the Vols. 

A true beatdown that feels so nice..!!
