Yes, I'm a big Giants fan! What a great game. And guess what? The Giants didn't have any turnovers!!!

My eyes are still hurting after watching that shitshow. Wow. It's like they've never seen a basketball before. Turnover after turnover. 23 in total. Missed shot after missed shot. 41% from the field, 31% on threes. Just to hard to watch.

It took a decent third quarter and a run in the fourth quarter to build a 20+ point lead before Georgetown close to 15. UConn did actually win this game. 65-50.

As bad as the turnovers and missed shots were, Fudd had a knee to knee with a Georgetown player and had to leave the game. She did not return. She was her usual goofy self with Paige on the sidelines, so I'm hopetul it was not a bad injury. I'm waiting to hear and will share as soon as it comes out.

With Fudd hurt, Geno played his starters 34, 35, 36, 37, and 38 minutes. Against Georgetown. Not a good situation. With a game Tuesday and then Tuesday, Saturday and Monday UConn needs to get the injured players back or Geno has to show some trust on the two bench players DeBerry and Bettancourt.

So, I've told you the bad. There is always some good.

1. They won. As Megan Cuomo said, take the win and move on. You can't play great every game.

2. Edwards had another double double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

3. UConn was 22-26 from the free throw line for 84.6%.

That's about it. Everyone else in the game for UConn struggled either shooting or handling the ball.

So, on to the next game on Tuesday againsst Seton Hall. If they play like this they could lose. But I doubt they will do either.

You think UConn had a bad day? Stanford lost their second game of the season to unranked USC 55-46.

And while some of their stats don't quite meet the UGGY qualifications, well, the former No. 2 team in the country should never lose to USC and just that brings their stats down to UGGY level.

First, Stanford only score 46 points. And it was a couple of late baskets that didn't matter that got them even that high. They say on 41 for 3 and 1/2 minutes before scoring with 28 seconds left.

They only scored 4 points in the first quarter.

They shot 30.9% from the field.

They were 4-19 on threes for 19%.

They only had 8 assists.

So those stats and because they lost to an unranked team makes them the first No. 2 team to win an UGGY.

CONGRATS STANFORD!!! Well deserved.
