That's how old that picture of Logan is!
GO UCONN!!!!!

I wish I had more about the three injured Huskies, Azzi Fudd, Annaya Patterson and Carolina Ducharme.
But here is something directly from Geno.
UConn updates:
— Maggie Vanoni (@maggie_vanoni) January 14, 2023
-Geno Auriemma says he's feeling better after taking a week off
-Caroline Ducharme + Ayanna Patterson remain in concussion protocol. Both spent time on the sideline watching practice today
"the more she does, the better she responds" - Geno on Ducharme's recovery
In regards to Fudd, I only have a couple of tidbits that are clues to her knee issue.
Geno said - "She just tweaked something and they got some ice on it. It didn't sound serious at all."
Hmmm....didn't sound serious at all.
I also heard that she gave her parents a thumbs up from the bench.
And another "source" said that when the Georgetown coach asked her how she feels she replied "it's fine".
Ok, nothing but conjecture, but I'm hopeful she will be playing on Tuesday against Seton Hall.

And since we are tlaking about UConn alums, here is some sad and also wonderful news.

Almost 14 years ago. Wow.

After the tough outing against Georgetown (yes, just a 15 point win) UConn slipped to No. 5 in the polls, dropping one spot.
The rankings are as follows:
Week 11
AP Top 25
In week 11 (this week) UConn, Stanford and LSU are only separated by 4 points. It would only take a couple of voters to change that.
In week 10, UConn was 5 points ahead of LSU. So, what would make voters change their votes on these teams for week 11?
Well, it could be that while some voters only look at wins and losses for the week some look closer at the scores.
For the wins and losses folks, UConn went 2-0 for the week with a blowout of a pretty darn good St. John's team and a weak performance in a 15 point against a poor Georgetown team. Still, they were 2-0.
LSU was also 2-0. Who did they play? They beat a middle of the SEC pack Missouri team by 20 points and a 30 point win against a basement dwelling SEC team in Auburn.
I don't see the difference.
I'll repeat, the standings don't mean anything but bragging rights for fans. And I'll admit it, the higher UConn is ranked the happier I am about it. But what frosts me here is that not one other team in the Top 25 in week 10 went down in week 11 without a loss. Something stinks.
