I wish I could have seen this game. We hosted a Pool/Jaccuzi/Fire Pit/ dinner party. It was a great time with some 20 friends. Yeah, I know, you find it hard to believe I have that many friends. 

But I did watch some of the Senior Night replay and some game highlights. It was all so wonderful. I love the emotion of senior night. No surprise that Nika was the biggest cryer of the night!

The big news of the night was that Paige and Aubrey will be back for one more season. It's hard not to think of the future roster now. I've resigned myself to the fact that Sarah Strong is not comeing but I don't think Geno will lose any sleep over it. If you look at his face when those players announced they were coming back, you can see how good he was feeling about that. We should all be feeling that good.

Just having Paige, Aubrey, Fudd, Ducharme available along with the four freshmen coming back with one year experience, and add in 1st year players El Alfy, Cheli, Ziebell. Don't forget returning Patterson. Well, wow. A terrific 12 player rotation. I would say that Paige, Fudd, Ducharme, Shade and Ziebell will be the best three point shooting guard rotation in the country. 

This team deserves a full season of health.

Ice Brady hasn't missed a shot in her last two games. 10-10, averaging 10.5 PPG and 9.5 RPG. I just hope she can keep it going.

The NCAA selection committee came out with their Top 16 teams and their seedings. And in a controverial selection, they had No. 8 Colorado as a No. 1 seed. 

Well, guess what. They lost to No. 22 Utah Friday night 77-76. Say goodbye to that 1 seed!

Milestone watch

• Aaliyah Edwards reached 1684 career points with her 26 points in the Georgetown game. She passed countrymate Kia Nurse and Shea Ralph to move into sole possession of 19th place. She needs 15 points to tie Ann Strother.

• Aaliyah Edwards now has 930 rebounds with 16 against Georgetown. She passed Kerry Bascom and Kara Wolters to move into sole possession of 10th place. She needs seven more to catch Peggy Walsh.

• Nika Mühl had 604 assists after her 7 assists in the Georgetown game. She passed Crystal Dangerfield, is in 5th place and needs 28 more to tie Renee Montgomery.
