Another wonderful day in Florida. I played golf with my old HS buddie Mark and actually played well on the back nine!!! Parred 4 of the last 6 holes.
Then a great dinner with my lovely wife at Two George's in Boyton Beach right on the Intracoastal.
Beautiful!!!
And of course, another great picture of Logan. He is learning to be a chef like his daddy!!!

Long day and late game means not much time to blog. I'll just give you my initial thoughts about the UConn/Tulsa game, post some links and call it a day.
UConn won this game 98-58, their 92 in a row, and the only surprise in this game was how many three pointers Tulsa was able to hit. Some were wide open, but many were contested and it just didn't matter. The Golden Hurricanes hit 13 of 34 three pointers. That is a lot of makes against a tough UConn defense. But that is also a ton of takes as well. They shot 38% and while it seemed like they hit a higher percentage to my eyes, it's only a few percentage points higher than their season average. I did mention their improved three point shooting from last year's numbers. And boy did they show that in this game.
Other than that, it was business as usual. Katie Lou was terrific with a career high 34 points on 7-12 three point shooting. Napheesa Collier was great as always in the paint and on the boards with 21 points and 13 rebounds 5 of them on the offensive end. The third player of the trifecta almost had her triple double. Gabby Williams had 13 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Along with countless hustle plays.
Chong, Nurse and Butler also played well for the Huskies in this game. Gotta love Chong's line of 10 points 7 assists 4 rebounds and 3 steals. With NO turnovers.
Another game that was a pleasure to watch. I hope to have a post game report, but I can't promise. Golf and the beach tomorrow!!!

In UConn's 16 games, a total of 129,408 people have seen the Huskies play live. That comes out to an average of 8,088 per game. The highest attendance was at Maryland when 17,950 saw UConn win 87-81. The 2nd most attended game was at Kansas State where 12,528 showed up to see the previously undefeated Wildcats lose 75-58. It is interesting to note the two biggest crowds to see the Huskies were on the road. The 3rd highest announced attendance was the USF game played at the XL Center in Hartford. That crowd was 10,109. The Baylor game at Gampel Pavilion drew 9,049.
The lowest attendance figure this season was at LSU, when only 3,806 showed up at the game. Barely beating that crowd was the 3,878 people that saw SMU get crushed 88-48. However, at many of UConn's away games, the usual attendance of several hundreds swells to thousands due to Husky fans. In Orlando, Tampa, Dallas and even at Notre Dame, local UConn fans flock to see their beloved Huskies. A crowd of 3,000 where there is normally 500, is a testament to the greatness of the Huskies..!!
UConn plays tonight in Tulsa, where attendance at the Reynolds Center, in Tulsa, against Temple was 284 people. That beat the crowd for the Memphis game of 211. What will UConn draw?
Go Huskies..!!
