Here is the UConn/East Carolina Pre Game Report.

Quiet Tuesday night in WCBB with Ohio State the only top 25 team playing.
Wednesday night the top three teams are playing.
UConn will be playing East Carolina in what should be a big win score wise.
No. 2 Baylor takes on No. 17 West Virginia on the road in a big Big 12 matchup. Last year the Mountaineers gave the Bears all they could handle, losing 69-64 in Waco and 71-61 at home. I expect this one to have similar results. Close but no cigar as Baylor takes this one.
No. 3 Maryland takes on an underachieving Nebraska team. The Terps should have no problem winning this one by 20+ points.

Everyone knows making a three point shot is harder than hitting one from inside the arc, right? Then why are two UConn players shooting better from 3 pt range..? Kia Nurse is 29-65 or 44.6% on three point shots versus 24-55 or 43.6% inside the arc. While the difference is small, Kia is on a hot streak from long range. For the last five games she is 12-23 or 52.2% from three point land. 
By comparison, Katie Lou has made 21 threes in the last five games, but taken 49 attempts. That is 43%.
The other Husky shooting better from three range is Molly Bent. She is 3-5 or 60% from outside the 3 pt arc and 3-7 or 43% from inside. She is also 3-4 or 75% from the free throw line. Quietly, she is becoming a good college basketball shooter.
Yes, Molly's sample size is small, but that should increase in conference play over the next two months.
Of course, no shooting discussion would be complete without mentioning the queen of accuracy inside the arc, Pheesa Collier. From inside 3 point range, Collier is 97-144 or 67.4%. Nobody is close to that production or accuracy inside the arc. Gabby has 61 baskets in close and KLS has 48.

Your math is wrong, Nurse and KLS shoot 66% and 68% respectively if you calculate their 3 pt field goals in comparison to 2 pt FG, therefore they are both shooting better from 3 than Collier is from 2 AND they are much more difficult shots than Collier is taking around the basket AND they are the reason Collier gets those open looks around the basket ;)
