Another big upset Wednesday with No. 4 Texas going down to Oklahoma on the road. Oklahoma is always a tough out at home and Sheri had her team ready to play.
This is consecutive losses for the Longhorns after winning their first 13 games and even grabbing a few 1st place votes in the AP poll.
Losing two straight is tough enough. But it's clear the offense hasn't been the same since their star freshman Ariel Akins went down with an injury after playing only 7 games. Texas went 7-0 averaging 77 PPG in those games. And since Akins' injury? 6-2 averaging 66 PPG. Huge difference. Hopefully she will be coming back soon.
UConn's next opponent, South Florida, beat Oklahoma earlier this season. That win is looking better and better for South Florida and the AAC.

Speaking of UConn, another great performance by the Huskies. Here is my post game report.

Ugly Game Of The Day
There might be uglier games in the western time zones, but I won't be able to check those until the morning. That being said, I would find it hard to believe there will be an uglier performance than Southeast Missouri of the Pioneer League.
Wednesday, they lost to Jacksonville State 70-34. Now, thirty-four is one ugly number for a final score for any team. You'd think they had a really ugly shooting percentage. How about 28% on FG's and 27% on three point shots. Ugh! You need more to only score 34, and the 19 turnovers did the trick.
Congrats Redhawks!!! You win the UGOTD away!!! Cherish is always.
Honorable Ugly Mention
* A special Ugly shout out to West Virginia who was 2-11 on FT's and 1-16 on 3's. UGLY!!!!
* Texas Oklahoma. The score wasn't that ugly but the shooting? Pretty darn ugly. Texas shot 26% and 17% on 3's. Oklahoma shot 34% and 28%.
* Memphis 41 Cincinnati 38. Not, not a half time score. Between them, 2-16 on 3's and 39 TO's.
Thanks to Johnny and Bill for pointing out the other games!
