The Wooden Mid-Season list came out and of course, the internet is A-Buzzin' with outrage that more of your favorite players aren't on the list and outrage that some players just don't deserve it.It's a fun game to play, and it really doesn't mean anything. But two players stood out to me that made the list and one that didn't.
Here are their stats -
Player A - 11.4 ppg, 8.9 rpg, 1 apg, 40% FG, 62% FT
Player B - 13.4 ppg, 7.1 rpg, .9 apg, 51% FG, 64% FT
Player C - 14.8 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 2.8 apg, 59% FG, 81% FT
At first glance, you would think that Player C would be one of the picks for the Wooden List. I mean, it looks pretty clear to me. More points, more assists, better shooting from the field and foul line.
I'd add that Player A's stats are not even close to Wooden level.
Player A - Isabelle Harrison Tennessee on the list
Player B - A'ja Wilson South Carolina on the list
Player C - Morgan Tuck UConn not on the list
Like I said, it means nothing. But it still annoyed the heck out of me..!!!!

Both South Florida and Eastern Carolina, two teams that are battling hard to snag an NCAA at large bid won tonight. Both these teams along with Tulane need to beat everyone not named Connecticut to have a shot. All three should have twenty plus wins.

Ugly Game Of The Day
We take a trip to Dayton to find the ugly game of the day. The Flyers welcomed fellow Atlantic 10 conference mate University of Rhode Island to their home court and they were glad they did.
The Rams managed only 33 points by shooting 27% from the field and only 2-15 on three point shots. They added in 15 turnovers, but the most interesting stat was the total of only 18 rebounds.
Congrats to Rhode Island for winning today's UGOTD award!!!
Honorable Mention
Pennsylvania - 44 points, 30% FG shooting, 2-14 on three point shots
Central Florida - 45 points, 23% FG shooting, 5-26 on three point shots
Northern Illinois - 40 points, 27% FG shooting, 3-18 on three point shots
