Only one top 25 game Tuesday and that was Baylor against Kansas State, who they beat easily, 74-44. Baylor has now won 12 consecutive games since losing to Kentucky. In that game, Baylor was up big until the inexplicably fell apart defensively allowing 50 points in the second half to the Wildcats.

They are led by Nina Davis, the best 5'11" power forward in the country. She has scored over 20 points and had double doubles in several games. One of the stars, not only in the sophomore class but in the country.

Baylor has been it's usual defensive stalwart, holding 5 teams to under 50 points including the last two games. When teams are mentioned for the final four, Baylor is not usually among them. But I think they have a great shot considering the field.

You have to give Mulkey credit for building a consistent winner. The Lady Bears have been ranked in the Top 25 for 211 straight weeks. The streak dates back to week nine of the 2003-04 season.

Ugly Game of the night

Well, it was a light schedule tonight, so I really only have an ugly team for the night. I hate to pile on, but Penn State was REALLY ugly Tuesday night. In dropping their 12th game of the season to Wisconsin 65-47, Penn State only shot 30% from the floor and 30% on three's. They only shot 57% from the FT line as well. They had 20 TO's and only 10 assists.

It's been a REALLY ugly game for them. And sadly it wasn't their worst. And sadly, there are games worse to come. They have all the capability to win the Ugly Game of the Night award multiple times!!!
