More Christyn Williams stuff!!!

From her opponent's coach from the championship game -

"Riverview Coach Ryan Smith quipped he was glad to not have to coach against Williams anymore after Friday. I won't be the only one, either," Smith said. "But I told her it was a lot of fun these last four years. She's a great player. Smith said Williams' third-quarter performance was too much for the Lady Raiders to overcome. That's why she's going to UConn," Smith said. "She's by far the best player I've coached against. There's no doubt."

Well, Monday night is the selection show and I will make predictions that are 100% going to happen.

1. UConn will be the No. 1 seed.
2. Fans of every No. 1 seed seed will say their team is in the toughest bracket.
3. 100% of the fans will say the committee sucks.
4. Tennessee will NOT be in UConn's bracket.

Other than that, I'm just looking forward to talking about possible matchups after the teams are announced.

I'd love a team that plays great team basketball like Green Bay to play Tennessee.

ESPN came out with it's AA teams and Katie Lou Samuelson and Gabby Williams were on the first team with Naphesa Collier making the second team.

ESPN comes up with three teams and no sign of Kia Nurse, Crystal Dangerfield and Azura Stevens. I'm hopeful that Kia will win WBCA Defensive POY and on the ten player WBCA AA team.

More N.I.S.E. while we wait for the NCAA tournament draw. Yesterday we showed the UConn N.I.S.E. team score of +266, even when including the bench players. That is incredibly efficient scoring. Leading the Huskies with the best N.I.S.E. were Katie Lou at +85 and Kia Nurse at +74. Z was not far behind with her +66. How about the other good teams in the WCBB..?

1. Baylor has a fairly good N.I.S.E. of +24 as a team. They are led by Kalani Brown at +80. She shoots very close to the basket and scores often. Easy shots, high N.I.S.E. score.

2. Louisville has a negative N.I.S.E. of -3. That means they score about the same number of points as shots taken. Leading the Cardinals is Asia Durr with a N.I.S.E. of +30. Not bad, but the Huskies have four players better than that... 8-)

3. Mississippi State comes in at -42 for their N.I.S.E.  Both Vivians at +21 and McCowan with +14 have good N.I.S.E. scores, but the rest of the team misses a ton of shots.

4. By far the worst N.I.S.E. of the group is Ohio State at -82. Their superstar Asia Durr is very respectable at +39, but everyone else shoots and misses far more than they should. 

N.I.S.E. won't predict who wins the game. It will show which team has, over the season, taken better shots and made more of them.  UConn has such a high N.I.S.E. because they make the extra pass and pass up a good shot for a great shot. The easier the shot, the more likely you are to make it. Making more shots is how you win the game..!!  :D
