Here is my UConn/Tulsa Pre Game Report.
******************************************************************************
No. 12 Tennessee beat No. 20 Missouri 71-55 at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Missouri.
I did watch a lot of this game and Missouri, in finally playing a decent team, was exposed as the overrated team that they are. Coming into this game Missouri had played no one of significance. The toughest team on their schedule was St. Mary's.
Missouri came into this game as a supposed great three point shooting team. But when faced with a team that actually defended the arc, they only shot 2-21. Just an ugly performance by another overrated SEC team against another SEC team.
The announcers were funny, touting this as "a battle of wills". Are you kidding me? They also said that "there are no off nights in the SEC". Yeah, no off nights from crappy basketball.

Speaking of crappy basketball, the No. 9 Stanford at No. 14 Arizona State game had to set women's college basketball back 30 years.
It's hard to believe that either of these teams are ranked especially the way Stanford played Monday night. Here was Stanford's quarter by quarter scoring. 7,6,9,9. Yep. They scored 31 points, the lowest scoring game in their history, in losing to Arizona State 49-31. You would have thought this was an SEC game.
Arizona State was bad. They shot only 30.9% from the field in scoring 49 points. Most teams would lose scoring only that many points. Thankfully for the ASU fans, their team was playing Stanford.
Stanford was just horrible in shooting 11-43 from the field and 1-9 on threes. They added 17 turnovers. Not ONE player had double digit scoring.
I know they will only drop a few spots, but Stanford was just god-awful in this game and deserves to drop more. We will see in the AP poll that comes out tomorrow.
I don't know who played worse over the last couple of days. Duke or Stanford? Take your pick.

From David in Naples
UConn fans have always recognized the contributions of Morgan Tuck to the Huskies recent success. But, the reality is she plays in the sizable shadow of Stewie and MoJeff. None the less, her career stats place Tuck in the ranks of UConn's greats.1. Morgan's point total of 1,016 places her 40th all time at UConn.
2. From inside the 3 pt arc, Tuck shoots an amazing 60.5% (372-615).
3. Last year, she had 115 assists and is on pace to exceed 250 total with 41 already this season.
4. With 417 rebounds, Morgan has a chance to finish with well over 500 by the end of this year.
5. Tuck has a 71% free throw rate and has played over 1,997 minutes so far in her career.
At her current pace, Morgan should finish this year with 1,400 points, 500 rebounds and 250 assists. Those would be amazing numbers. And then there is next year....
