Team Overviews
UConn is 6-0 after beating Tulsa 95-35 on January 6th in Hartford. This was the game that Jefferson sat with the hamstring strain. Chong played a season high 29 minutes and she scored a season high 18 points. Samuelson hit 4-6 threes and added 5 assists. Tuck added 18 points. This was a 12 point game for Stewart, which started her shooting slump. She has since broken out of that poor shoot series of games. Nurse had her absolute worst game of the season, with only 2 points and 1 assist.
Tulsa has gone 2-4 since losing to UConn in their first meeting. They really struggled in the first matchup. Tulsa had one player in double digits, Ashley Clark with ten points. Tulsa shot only 26.7% from the field and 2-17 on threes. Along with 19 turnovers, Tulsa struggled to get to their 35 points. Amazingly, they played 11 players, every one that entered the game, 12 minutes or more.

Game Analysis
My first game preview analysis holds true in the second matchup.
Tulsa starts 4 players under 6' tall and their only height in the starting lineup is freshman forward Crystal Polk. UConn outrebounded them in the first matchup 52 to 29.
Tulane is lead by their guards Ashley Clark, Kelsee Grovey and Ericka Wakefield who are the only double digit scorers on the team. Grovey is the only true three point threat on the team and UConn did a great job keeping her from hitting from the outside.
Tulsa really doesn't have much size, so UConn will again try to work the ball inside and when they double the ball kick it out for the three. It's what they have done all season. Sometimes they hit more from the outside than others. But all that means is the difference between a 50 point win or a 65 point win.
Final Prediction
This is a pretty tough matchup for Tulsa as shown in the first game. What is interesting is that even without Tuck, UConn is playing better. Remember that Jefferson didn't play in the first matchup.
UConn's size and quickness combination will be even more devastating as the last time they met.
UConn should win this one by 60+.
