Well, It's time again for an "Uggy Award". We have a great one to really show the meaning of UGGY.

I can always count on the SEC to come up with something to help me fill Blog space. This time it was No. 13 Kentucky, who played what I thought was a decent ACC team in Virginia. Maybe the Wildcats brought down the play of the Cavaliers.

This was the kind of game where the first team to 50 wins. Well, it too two free throws with 2 seconds left for Kentucky to get the 50-47 win.

Now, lets get into the numbers that make this a complete UGGY game.

Kentucky shot 29.8% from the floor and were 6-20 on three point shots. They also had only 7 assists and 23 turnovers.

Virginia was hot in the fourth quarter and ended up shooting 31.7% from the field and 3-12 on three point shots. They had 22 turnovers.

And to make this game even harder to watch, they had 42 fouls between them.

Add in the 97 total points? Oregon outscore both teams. UGGY Perfection!

By the way, Virginia comes into the XL Center on Tuesday to play the Huskies. I'm hoping I get to see this game later on ESPN3 on replay. Hopefully I won't hurt my eyes watching it.

No. 1 Oregon did what was expected by beating Texas Southern 99-63 Friday night. And I guess the fact that Sabrina Ionescu, the best player in WCBB, had another triple double with 10 points 14 assists and 13 rebounds, extending her College Basketball record to 19. That's both men and women. Man, I could watch her play basketball all day.

The leading scorer for the Huskies is Megan with 46 points. Not surprisingly, she is the most accurate shooter at 50%. Amazingly, her 3 point accuracy is 45.5% (5-11). The only part lacking is from the charity stripe at 71.4% (5-7). Christyn is a close 2nd at 46.9% accuracy (15-32). Both should improve against Temple..!
