I've only been able to watch the first quarter of the Dayton game. Maybe that is enough??!!! Nice quarter for the Huskies. They were terrific on offense and great on defense.

I'll try to watch the rest of the game Wednesday, but remember, this was all done without their point guard. Maybe Geno CAN give her rest more often?? Check out David's Numbers!!!

With our senior point guard on the bench, our two other seniors were able to do a fantastic job. Between them they played 67 minutes and scored 12 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and handed out 8 assists! Great job!

Anna Makurat is finding her range going 2-2 on threes.

Megan Walker played like the 1st team AA she should be by the end of the season with 23 points and 12 rebounds. She is becoming a beast and I mean that in the nicest way.

Nelson-Ododa had a terrific game as well. Her inside game is getting better and better. And 7 blocks? Crazy!

Thanks to my friend Ken for this info on the Tennessee game Tuesday night.

Tennessee had their Thanksgiving feast a couple of days early with some delicious #343 Arkansas Pine Bluff CUPCAKES courtesy of former Coach Holly Warlick's brutal scheduling? The Lady Vols won @ home by a score of 92 - 51 as might be expected, but they had 19 turnovers, were called for 19 fouls and shot 0 - 10 from the 3 point line; not exactly the kind of stats you'd expect against a team ranked 343rd out of 351??

It would be hard to play a better quarter of basketball than UConn did against Dayton in the 1st period. Consider:

1. Scored 29 points in 10 minutes.
2. Shot 12-20 or 63% from the field.
3. On fire from outside the arc at 5-7 or 71%.
4. No turnovers. As in 0...
5. Also, 8 assists on 12 baskets.
6. Defense gave up only 9 points.
7. All this with Molly & Kyla starting.

Game was over after just 10 minutes. Nice effort Huskies..!!
