I linked an article about ESPN's Top 25 players for this season. UConn has 2 players in the top ten, Dangerfield (6) and Williams (10) with Walker at No. 15.
Three players in the Top 15? I think I like this team!! Add in Olivia Nelson-Ododa and you have quite the top four players on this team. Can't wait for the real season to start!

So, I was checking out Volnation.com, one of the Tennessee message boards and there was a large thread about the Evina Westbrook waiver rejection. You can imagine the range of comments from those people.
One poster actually said his prayers were answered when he heard the news. Really? Did he really pray for that to happen? Yes he did! What a jerk.
Of course Geno's comments about Tennessee and the UConn AD comments about the Tennessee AD Fulmer really set them off. You knew that eventually they would bring up the big hits from the past including Geno being unethical, Pat had a good reason to cancel the games, Maya Moore blah blah blah.
I'm really going to enjoy every game they lose this season and you can be sure that I will be talking about it to all of you!

In another blow to the Notre Dame team and an even tougher blow to the player, Abby Prohaska said she has blood clots in both lungs and is out indefinitely. The 5-foot-10 sophomore announced on social media Monday she has been diagnosed with bilateral pulmonary embolism.
Prohaska was one of the few returning players that had any experience in Div I basketball, playing 38 games last season and averaging 14.4 minutes per game. This is really going to be a rocky season for the Irish.
No. 16 Notre Dame opens its season against Fordham.
Speaking of season openers, 14 Top 25 teams start their season on Tuesday, including No. 2 Baylor, No. 3 Stanford, No. 4 Maryland, No. 6 Texas A&M, No. 8 South Carolina, and No. 9 Louisville.
It's doubtful that any of the top 25 teams will lose, but we could find out a few things about these teams. I'll have as many links as I can find Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning.
