Hi this in Noa, Doggydaddy's granddaughter. I am 13 years old and I am an all-star cheerleader. I go to a gym called Cheer Florida. I am on a junior level 4 team. My favorite colors are all of them except orange and brown. I love hanging out with my friends and family. I also like going to the mall and shopping for things. And i have the best grandpa in the whole world.

Well, I guess my complaints and comments about UConn fans didn't go over so well. What can I say, I'm just a lightning rod for arguments sometimes.

It doesn't bother me. I will continue to post in a positive way about this team.

On Facebook, someone posted "THIS UConn team is devoid of real talent" . Yes, NO REAL TALENT.

Is that just unbelievable? 3 games where they were beaten soundly and now they have no real talent.

Sigh......

I guess I got upset with that comment because I replied "That is just bullshit". And it is.

ESPN just did a reorder of their preseason Top 25 players and UConn still has three players on that list with Megan Walker at No. 8, Christyn Williams at No. 14 and Crystal Dangerfield at No. 15. I'm not sure that Dangerfield shouldn't be higher but the experts think that there is plenty of real talent on this team.

The response to my "bullshit" comment was this - "Loving this team and assessing their talent level are not even close to one thing having to do with the other."

I guess that is true. I did question his fandom in some way. Not fair. But his statement was so over the top, I'll stick with what I said.

Boy, the Lady Vol fans were so excited that UConn lost to South Carolina. They even had a thread on their message board just about the 2 points scored in the first quarter.

I think they forgot that UConn kicked their orange asses just a few days ago so UConn losing doesn't make them look better, it makes them look worse.

Their big topic now is Geno. Geno, Geno, Geno.

Here are a few beauts from them about the UConn coach.

"He isn't physically well, and with more talent then anyone, yes, they are horribly coached. He is slipping and karma is sinking in. Sorry but the little guy is losing it mentally and physically, too bad"

"I think he’s closer to retirement than many UCONN fans want to believe."

"Geno doesn't look..or act healthy. He has had some heath issues as of late and once those start at his age it's hard to predict how much longer he will stay...I am guessing as long as possible...but maybe family time will pull him away."

"Just my personal observation, but he aged significantly in the last several months. He seems very frustrated and it doesn’t seem to be about basketball (again, my perspective). I wouldn’t be at all shocked if he secured a great class in a year or two and then tried to pass the torch."

"He doesn't look healthy at all. Last night, he did appear more animated than in the Oregon game when he appeared oddly disconnected. One thing's for sure. If they had to wheel him in on a gurney, he'd show up long enough to surpass Pat's record as long as he has a pulse. And he might give directions to bring him in even without a pulse. He's been known to fudge the integrity of the game j
just so a record could be broken."

And finally -

"I noticed him sitting on the bench last night ! He has my problem! His waist is bigger than his shirt .... 😁 Surely he can afford one that fits ? Those buttons will pop open and there you have the big belly ! My experience with this matter that a larger shirt is less embarrassing as the potential exposure!"

They are almost as obsessed with Geno and UConn as I am with Tennessee.....lol.

There will be quite the infusion of freshmen talent coming in next season along with RS Junior Evina Westbrook. I love posting the highlights of Paige Bueckers, who proves every game why she is the best HS player in the country.

Similar Highlights from a different angel

And the 5'11" Mir McLean is an uber-athlete that will make UConn fans smile with her rebounding efforts.

Image result for stats don't lie

By David in Naples!!!!

Crystal Dangerfield has been playing superb basketball lately for the Huskies. She is rapidly moving up the UConn all-time list for career scoring and assists. Currently, she is 36th in scoring with 1,369 points, just 9 away from Sue Bird. Just 4 points after Sue is Carla Berube at 1,381 points. And then, 6 points after Carla is Jamelle Elliott with 1,387. So, scoring 19 points against USF would move Crystal into 33rd place and move her past a group of UConn legends.

Crystal is now in 6th place all-time with 566 assists. Just ahead is Sue Bird again with 585 assists. Her 85 assists this season leads the team and compares nicely to her 41 turnovers. The best case scenario might be passing Sue and finishing in 5th place. Getting to 4th would require a total of 633 assists or 67 more.

Quietly, Megan Walker has now entered the 1,000 point club. She is 45th all-time with 1,059 points. Ahead of her is Mel Thomas at 1,098 points. Olivia Nelson-Ododa is also moving up the blocked shot career mark. Her 132 blocks puts her in 13th place. Interestingly, her next player to pass is Diana Taurasi with 147 blocks. Who knew UConn got the shot blocking Taurasi..!!

Go Huskies..!!
