Finally, UConn is going to play again!!! If you haven't seen it, here is my UConn/DePaul Pregame Report.

I linked an article where they call DePaul unpredictable and that is exactly how I feel about this game.

DePaul is second in the country in three point attempts, three pointers made and three pointers taken and made per game. They just love the three pointer!! But they are only 74th in three point percentage, and that is where the unpredictability comes in.

If they can hit 15 out of 40 it could be a close game. I'm sure Geno would like to see that in the 10-12 range.

It's all about UConn outscoring DePaul. The Blue Demons don't seem to play much defense.

I was always taught to admit when I am wrong. Even if it's not that often. So, let me tell you how wrong I was.

"No. 5 South Carolina takes on a tough Purdue team. This game could be an upset."

Oh yeah, how wrong was that? Let me tell you the ways.....

Tough Purdue team? What the hell was I thinking?

An Upset? Only my stomach from watching Purdue play. They are not a very good team.

I've been watching the No. 1 Stanford/Ohio State game and I have to say I'm really impressed with Cardinal. They are big, athletic and quick. Tara has them playing at a high level on offense and their defense has been outstanding. At the time of this blog being published Stanford was leading the Buckeyes 26-13 in the middle of the 2nd quarter.

On edit, Ohio State just couldn't get back into the game, but was only outscored by 6 points for the last 2 1/2 quarters losing 71-52.

Stanford's defense was just too tough for Ohio State. Stanford has some terrific freshmen and should be a really good team for a few years.

In the "best" game of the day, No. 7 Louisville went into Rupp Arena and beat No. 14 Kentucky 67-66.

I'm not sure if it's a misprint but it looks like Kentucky only had 17 rebounds for the entire game. How is that possible??

Last night, Doggy covered the highlights of DePaul’s victory over the powerhouse Alabama State, 105-76. What about the low lights? Consider:

1. Due to a ban on playing any defense, a combined 181 points were scored.
2. There were 50 turnovers, including 21 by DePaul.
3. A combined 43 fouls were committed.
4. 23 free throws were missed. Not taken, missed..!
5. There were 80 missed shots from the field.
6. Despite 105 points and 52 rebounds, no one from DePaul had a double double.

Given Alabama State’s 76 points scored, I like UConn’s chances in Monday’s game.
