I'd have more to say about the game, but I haven't seen it yet!!! I'll have a full post game report soon enough. However,  judging from the box score and post game comments from fans that did watch the game, it was maybe UConn's best game of the season.

It's impressive when you hold a team that just scored 90+ games in their three game winning streak and averages over 80+ points per game to 53 points. And for a change UConn didn't let up in the second half. They only scored 34 points in the first half to take a 12 point lead, and then scored 63 points in the second half to finish with 97 points.

Olivia Ododa-Nelson flirted with a triple double with 27 points, 15 rebounds and 7 blocks. That, folks, is what we call a MONSTER game.

Aubrey Griffin only played 13 minutes but she was 7-9 from the field for 14 points, she grabbed 5 rebounds, and added 2 assists and 3 steals. Talk about potential!

I can't wait to see the game and get back to you with a complete post game report!!

Image result for can you believe it?

It was surprising enough to see at the time No. 1 Oregon lose to at the time No. 7 Louisville. But when an unranked team beats the No. 1 team, it's a real shock.

That is what happened today with unranked Texas beating No. 1 Stanford 69-64. After beating 3 ranked teams in their last 4 games, this one was a surprise.

Stanford really struggled with the size of Texas as former UConn verbal Charli Collier had 20 points and 19 rebounds. When she pulled back her verbal two years ago, Olivia Nelson-Ododa made her commitment to the Huskies. I really like Collier but I'll take Olivia at this time. Both would have been awesome!!

The Longhorns won the battle of the boards outrebounding the Cardinal 48-42 and on the offensive boards 19-14.

Both teams had problems shooting with each team under 40% from the field. It wasn't a thing of beauty.

I've read in other places that Stanford is such a deep team, but in this one they really only played seven players. Stanford should start winning against before they head into the mix-master in mid-January when they play Oregon and Oregon State in back to back games.

The PAC12 is going to be a blood bath.
