It's really hard to believe how bad this years Notre Dame team is. They were destroyed by our very own UConn Huskies. But UConn does that to a lot of teams. This latest game for the Irish was really shocking.

Yes, they lost to then 4-8 Clemson. But....

The game was at home for Notre Dame. If you can believe it they are now 4-7 at home. And they have now lost three home games in a row. I can't imagine when they last did that.

They are now 2-6 in their last 8 games. Only one of those was on the road and that was against UConn.

They didn't just lose at home to Clemson. They lost by 16 points.

They only had 31 points going into the fourth quarter.

They shot 31% from the field and 2-17 on threes. And they had 20 turnovers.

It looks like that this team has no chance to make the NCAA's.

Speaking of former "mightys" Tennessee got a big win Sunday against that powerhouse Howard, beating the Lady Bison by a score of 88-38.

It's probably unfair that I pick on a team with that nickname. They looks a little intimidating. However, this game was so lopsided and so bad for Howard, they are going to win an UGGY award.

Howard scored only 38 points. Any game where the team scores only 38 points is a candidate for an UGGY. But it's the horrific shooting percentages that tip the scales on this one.

FG - 12-64 for 18.8%.

3PT - 1-20 for 5%

FT - 13-28 for 46.4%

Now that is just so really bad shooting.

I will add that it was pretty UGGY of Tennessee to send them to the like 28 times fouling them 23 times.

So Congrats Lady Bison!!! You win the UGGY!!!!

There are a few undefeated teams in WCBB and a few of them are not ranked.

One, Texas Tech, has an unusual resume.

They are 11-0.

The best RPI they have played is Sam Houston State, RPI 159. The next best is San Diego, RPI 217. They have played 5 teams with over a 300 RPI. Suffice it to, their schedule is pretty much the worst in in WCBB at RPI 350.

So, why am I bringing up this team? Well, UConn transfer, Lexi Gordon has started to play for them after sitting out the appropriate amount of time and had a killer game Sunday.

In the 115-58 win over the UTSA Roadrunners (RPI 347), Lexi had 31 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. She was 12-16 from the fiield and 3-4 on threes. I think she thought she was back in high school.
