Congrats to UConn recruit Katie Lou Samuelson for winning the Gatorade POY. She was surprised by Elena Delle Donne, who appears to be wearing some big ole high heels to make the 6'3" Samuelson look short.

Here is a picture later in the day with both in sneakers
where they look like their listed heights of 6'3" and 6'5"

“The best player in the country is Katie Lou Samuelson,” said Blue Star Basketball national talent evaluator Kevin Lynch. “She’s the best big shooter I’ve seen since Elena Delle Donne. She reads defenses well, knows how to get open and she’s really developed an edge to her game too. She’ll battle you, and she’s a hell of a teammate.”

KLS has now swept the Gatorade, Naismith, Wooten, WBCA player of the year awards.
