Here is my UCONN/Cincinnati post-game report
And here is my UConn/East Carolina Pre Game Report

ACC Tourney
In the first semi-final, Florida State ran out to a HUGE lead in the first half, up by as much as 24 points 33-9 with 5 minutes left in the half. Louisville is too good a team not to make a run and they did just that, outscoring Florida State 17-6 to cut the lead to 13 before the half 39-26. In the second half, Louisville closed to 2 points, 45-43 with 9 minutes left. To me it looked like Louisville ran out of gas at this point as FSU outscored them 21-8 to end the game. Florida State now takes on Notre Dame in the ACC final on Sunday.
In the second semi-final Notre Dame took on the very game Duke team. Duke had been playing better and they game Notre Dame all they could handle. The Irish had a solid first half, playing some great defense in holding Duke to 15 points but Duke was tough defensively as well, holding Notre Dame to only 26 points. In the second half, Notre Dame held on to the lead. Duke could only close to 5 and that was short lived as Loyd kept Duke at bay. Jewell scored every time Duke tried to make a run and before you knew it, the game was over with Notre Dame winning comfortably.
The Florida State - Notre Dame game should be a good one, but it's hard to pick against the Irish.

SEC Tourney
As expected we will see a South Carolina - Tennessee final. It's certainly the game that the Vol fans want to see as they are convinced they would have won with more time to adjust to the loss of Harrison.
South Carolina had a tough time with LSU early, down by as much as nine points before closing to four at the half, 31-27 LSU. Tiffany Mitchell was scoreless in the first half and only finished with four points. But it didn't matter much as South Carolina, behind Coates, Welsh and an unlikely hero Tina Roy, slowly took the lead and pulled away to a double digit lead with 5 minutes left in the game. They closed strong to win by 74-54. They played much better in the second half and they will need to continue with that to beat Tennessee again in their rematch.
Tennessee had a rematch with Kentucky after beating them twice already this year. This game was not much different as Kentucky battled them as tough as they did in the first two games. But Cierra Burdick continued her great play since Harrison went down with her knee injury. It was only a seven point halftime lead for the Lady Vols, 31-24. Kentucky played tough in the second half, closing to five points several times, but Burdick was too tough for the Wildcats and Tennessee kept the lead between 8-11 for the rest of the game.
So who wins this rematch? I'm still going to go with South Carolina.

Ugly Game Of The Day
In an American East tournament game, Albany handed Vermont a 63-33 loss. But in doing so, gave the Catamounts a chance to win the UGGY award for Saturday.
They did their best to do just that. They scored only 33 points on 30% field goal shooting, 24% (4-17) from beyond the arc, only 6 assists with a whopping 26 turnovers.
Congrats to our neighbors to the north in winning this prestigious prize.
