My Grand-nephew did a wonderful job chanting his Haftorah today. So proud. And the party Saturday night was just awesome.

It was tough being only 30 minutes away from the game and not to be able to go see it. But after reading about it, I can say I didn't miss much. Crazy performance by UConn.

Flying back to Florida on Sunday after a brunch with family at the hotel. It was a great visit to Dallas. Probably better than UConn's!!!!

Big game Sunday in Knoxville as No. 15 Tennessee takes on No. 7 South Carolina on Senior day for Mercedes Russell, Kourtney Dunbar and Jamie Nared. It's hard to pick against the Lady Vols in this kind of environment but I have a feeling that big bad A'ja Wilson will be loaded for bear after South Carolina lost in the first matchup when Wilson was out with an ankle injury. Maybe the refs will give Tennessee some home cooking and Wilson won't dominate. It's been a while since the clock operator screwed up enough to give Tennessee the win!

I saw things in tonight’s victory over SMU that I have never seen before. Here is my list...

1. Never seen this UConn team shoot so poorly to start a game. They were 2-12 shooting to open the 1st period.

2. Never seen the Huskies have a 41 to 0 run in scoring. SMU led 12-6, then UConn scores the next 43 to lead 47-12.

3. Never seen an opponent score 1 point in a period. One free throw. That was it.

4. Never seen UConn score only 7 points in a period. The Huskies made only 3 baskets in the 4th period on 24 shots.

5. Never seen Molly not have a turnover. Geez....!

6. Never seen Crystal go scoreless (0-3) when she started a game. Did have 5 assists with 0 turnovers.

7. Never seen Azura rebound w/ such power and ferocity. Looked like meyers7 tearing into the rib plate at Bokamper’s..!!

To be sure, there were many things UConn did that I’ve seen dozens of times. They include Lou scoring 23 pts w/ 5 threes, Z posting a double-double of 14 pts-14 boards and the Huskies getting 27 assists on 31 baskets.

Time to fly home and get ready for Kia and Gabby’s Senior Night on Monday against USF. It is their last home game. Something you never want to see for two beloved Huskies..!!
