Well, we made it to Hilton Head to my high school friend Bobby and his wife Nancy's house after another 7 hour drive. It was pretty uneventful thankfully, and my wife even drove a couple of the hours.
We had a nice seafood dinner out and then a lot of catching up!! Great time!
Leaving Tuesday morning for 7-8 more hours of driving before we get to Delray and the condo we rented.
It's late and I'm tired. So just a few thoughts and links. Thankfully David sent me some stats to share.

Sorry, no time for a UConn/Memphis pregame report. So just a few observations.
Not a lot of height for Memphis, but they do have a 6'4" center Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu. She is pretty physical and maybe we can see how Olivia does against her. I'd love to see her handle the physical play better than she did against Baylor.
Another poor shooting team as Memphis shoots 42% from the field 32% on threes and 61% from the free throw line. A fairly week assist number at 12 per game and a large turnover number at 18 per game. They do rebound the ball well.
The Tigers come into this game at 9-7 on the season but have lost their last three games, all in Conference against Houston, Cincinnati and Tulane. You will remember that UConn recently beat Houston in their last outing 91-51. That should give you an indication of the outcome of this game.
I'd guess another 40+ win for UConn.

I posted this yesterday as my guess at the top 6.
No. 1 South Carolina
No. 2 Baylor
No. 3 UConn
No. 4 Stanford
No. 5 Oregon
No. 6 Oregon State
Close but no cigar.
The actual top 6 was:
No. 1 South Carolina
No. 2 Baylor
No. 3 Stanford
No. 4 UConn
No. 5 Louisville
No. 6 Oregon
I disagree with Stanford at No. 3 ahead of UConn. No reason to move them ahead of the Huskies.
And Louisville at No. 5? They have had some really weak games lately even if it didn't end up a loss.
BTW, how much did Tennessee moving down a spot from 23 to 24 without losing a game make the Lady Vol fans crazy??

Crystal Dangerfield is 1 assist away from becoming the 10th highest career assist leader at UConn. With her 530 total assists, Crystal is just 14 assists away from tying Maya Moore (544) for the 8th spot. Sue Bird (585) is 55 assists away in 5th place. All this should happen this season, yet many fans can only focus on the "problems" with this year's Huskies. Enjoy the here and now UConn fans, Crystal graduates after this season.
In addition to career assists, Dangerfield is moving up the scoring list as well. Her 1,215 points puts her in 41st place all-time. Sue Bird is just 163 points away in 35th place. At her current average of 15 points per game, the next 11 games should put Crystal past Sue. Moriah Jefferson is 317 points away in 26th place. Keeping her average of 15 points for the next 21 games would move her past MoJeff in scoring.
What do you call a point guard at UConn who finishes their career 5th in career assists and 25th all-time in scoring? How about All-American..?
Go Huskies..!!
